According to
the Foreign Office (FO), Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will travel to
the United Arab Emirates on official business on Sunday. He will then meet with
his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss
bilateral relations.
The two
foreign ministers will talk about "the entire spectrum of bilateral
relations between the two brotherly countries," the FO said in a statement
on Saturday.
He will also
convey his condolences to the UAE's top officials following the death of Sheikh
Saeed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the brother of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed
Al-Nahyan, on Thursday.
It was
additionally reported that Bilawal would go to the Madame Tussauds museum
during the tour to see his mother, the late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, have her
wax figure unveiled.
The FO
statement emphasized that Bilawal's Sunday travel to the UAE "reflects
Pakistan's constructive engagement with the UAE and mutually beneficial
cooperation between the two brotherly countries."
"Both countries are devoted to steadily
deepening economic collaboration that will profit both nations," it continued.
