Russia charges Ukraine with a fresh drone strike on Moscow.

claims that all three drones were shot down or made to crash

MOSCOW: According to the Russian Defense Ministry, three Ukrainian drones that were attempting to strike Moscow early on Sunday were shot down.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, no one was wounded and only minimal damage was done to the exterior of two commercial buildings in the Moskva-Citi trade district.

Three Russian government ministries as well as residential units were housed in one of the damaged buildings, according to Russian media, in an area near the Kremlin famed for its contemporary high-rise structures.

The incident did not result in any fatalities or injuries, according to a brief statement from the mayor, Sobyanin.

After the failed attack on Monday, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov promised additional drone strikes. Kyiv did not respond to the most recent event right away.

According to the statement from the Russian ministry, “An effort by the Kyiv government to launch a terrorist assault using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets in Moscow was thwarted” on July 30 in the morning.

Separately, it claimed to have stopped a nighttime assault by 25 Ukrainian drones that it either shot down or forced to fall on the Crimean peninsula in the Black Sea, which Russia acquired from Ukraine in 2014. It said that the Crimea incident had not resulted in any injuries or property damage.
